The high-performance charge air cooler has the following network dimensions (600mm x 260mm x 100mm) and this offers an 87% larger inflow area and 70% more charge air volume compared to the original charge air cooler. The newly developed competition high-performance network grants the adjacent components, e.g. the water cooler, enough air flow and is also very light. The end boxes of the charge air cooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized under flow analysis in the CAD system. With the help of built-in air baffles in the entrance, the charge air cooler is evenly filled. The result is excellent cooling properties with low back pressure. So this kit is just right for racing. The charge air cooler and the original crossbar form a stable unit and, thanks to the new competition high-performance network, weighs only 11.2kg. The assembly takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1: 1 exchange).
